Ok, so the challenge this month with Paper Smooches is to create something cute...not hard to do because just about every stamp set is sooooo stinkin' cute!

And I am also playing for the Paper Smooches Guest Search for March!!!
I created the wreath using the wheat stem from Green Acres...I also used the mom and baby chic. The bow at the top of the wreath is from the set Luminous Spring. The sentiments are a mix of Chubby Chums and Word Salad.  I stamped the images with black ink from memento and colored them with Copic Markers. I added some white accents with a gel pen and scattered some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. I used pink ink from Colorbox to stamps the bow and hearts.
The dies are from Mama them!!!

Next card I am using the color palette from My Favorite Things
I love this fun and romantic color palette!
To create this card I used a piece of watercolor cardstock some Copic Markers and Die-namic Wonky Stitched Circle Stax from My Favorite Things. The sentiment is MFT, Undeniable Chemistry.

I used Copics in shades Y11,R01,R22, and RV66.  Black ink is Memento.

Paper Sweeties February 2016 Inspiration Challenge

Hello there!

It's a new month and time for a new inspiration challenge with Paper Sweeties
I decided to create some Valentine's Day cards with these sweet colors!
I have been seeing a lot of heart shaped floral wreaths popping up everywhere...from door wreaths to stamp wreaths. So I created a heart shape with flowers inside...
I used the Paper Sweeties stamp sets Pretty Posies, Make Today BeautifulParty Time and Hello Friend.
I am adding this to Just Us Girls (flowers, stamps, die cuts)

I created a second card with the same colors, just in different places.
For both cards, I started off by masking the heart and than stamped the flowers, leaves and vines. I stamped the images with black ink from memento than colored them with Copic Markers.
I lightly traced the heart outline than colored the heart background with Copics. I added some white accents with a white gel pen. I also added some dimension with layered flower centers.
I am adding this to The Paper Players (die cuts, pink, girly)

Hope you will join us and hop along to check out what the designers created!
Other supplies used: pattern paper from My Favorite Things, scallop die is from Mama Elephant, heart die is Spellbinders.
Come play along with Paper Sweeties!!!

My Lil' Hoot...

Hey there!!!

Just playing along with some challenges...

I used the sketch from The Paper Players.

I used Hero Arts stamp set CL755. Black ink is memento, white ink is memories.
I used Copic Markers to color and a white gel pen to add some accents. The stitched circle die is from My Favorite Things. I inked it up with ranger ink in salty ocean. The glitter dcardstock is Recollections.

My next card...
I am playing along with the sketch from My Favorite Things Challenges...

I used the MFT set Ewe are the Best. I used the round trees as balloons. I used a zig zag stitched die and stitched speech bubble edges from MFT.

The rectangular stitched die is from Lil'Inker Designs. Watercolor cardstock is from Michaels. I used ranger inks in mustard seed, salty ocean, mowed lawn and picked raspberry. Black ink is memento. I scattered some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and added some white accents with a gel pen.

You Make the World a Better Place

Hey there!

I bet you're playing along with Papertrey Ink's January Blog Hop
I have to be honest, I could not decide what I wanted to create.
There were so many ideas I just could not execute them precisely!
So, this is what I came up with...
I really liked the color combo and opted to go with circles. I used some Spellbinders dies as a stencil and inked up watercolor cardstock. I used distress inks in Peacock Feathers and Spiced Marmalade than added some splashes of water. I die cut the rectangle panel with Lil'Inker's stitched rectangle die.

My Papertrey Ink supplies are Lovely Layers stamps and dies, Year of Flowers: Roses sentiment, linen vellum, and rustic twine. I die cut the flower with vellum than embossed it with white powder. I added some mini sequins to the center and scattered some others. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

Can't wait to hop along and see what everyone created!
