Sometimes it really bugs me that I don't have the exact colors and I want to run to the store and find what I need!!!! But I didn't...

All cardstock is from Papertrey Ink. The pattern paper is from Michaels. I used a Spellbinders die to cut the square frame.

The balloon dies are from Simon Says Stamp. The tiny heart stitched die is from Lil' Inker Designs.

I added some twine from the Paper Sweeties Shop. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches. I used black ink from Hero Arts. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

September 15: Paper Sweeties September Release Party!

Hello there!

Welcome back to Day 3 of the Paper Sweeties September Release!

Today is the day the newest stamps and dies are available for purchase in the Paper Sweeties Shop...

Today I used the set "You Are Tu-Tu Sweet".

I couldn't wait to play dress up with Sophie and this adorable ballerina outfit, from her wand to her slippers!
After I stamped her with black ink from Hero Arts I used Copic Markers to color and some Martha Stewart glitter for the tutu and wand. That pretty, lush seam binding is from the Paper Sweeties Shop!

The papers are from Carta Bella Sew Lovely and Fancy Pants Be Loved. I used a Spellbinders labels die and enamel dots from Recollections. This Sophie stamp reminds me of my oldest daughter. Her birthday is just around the corner and she used to be my ballerina! I miss watching her recitals...she plays soccer now.

I stamped the sentiment onto vellum linen and trimmed the corners with a square punch to make pennants. All cardstock, twine and button are from Papertrey Ink.
I am entering this into the Seize the Birthday Challenge...

Now I know you can't wait to see what the amazing ladies created!!! Come hop to the blog and see...

Stampin' with Paper Smooches

Hello there!

Oh my goodness...I just finished covering 18 workbooks with that clear contact *crap* ...substitute that word for something more vile!! I can't stand that stuff. I should rephrase doesn't like me! It sticks to the table, it sticks together as I am trying to trim it ever so perfectly. I swear the whole time it's laughing at me!  Well, thank God for book sox!

After that mess I had to calm myself down...and what better way than to create a card, or two!!!
I am adding both cards to Paper Smooches Guest Designer Search for October and Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge

I pulled out some new Paper Smooches stamps and dies and went to town!

For this card I used the set Just a Note. I stamped the pencil repeatedly with Hero Arts black ink onto white cardstock from Papertrey Ink. I used Copic Markers to color and shade. I trimmed some linen vellum, also PTI, and stamped the sentiment.

I saturated the pencil with glossy accents. The sequin is from Pretty Pink Posh, the wood stars are from Studio Calico. I followed the theme from The Card Concept... I used the clean and graphic style

My next card utilizes the Feathers Wise Dies...

After die cutting the feathers from white cardstock from PTI, I inked them up with some Color Box inks in shabby pink, peacock and gold.

I created the background using Ranger texture paste and added Heidi Swapp color shine in blush. Then brushed it over a memory box stencil, Bubbles. The sentiment is from Mama Elephant, True Friend. I used gold ink. The linen vellum is from PTI. The sequins are Pretty Pink Posh, the wood stars are Studio Calico.

I followed the sketch from Retro Sketches...
