Friends

Hey there!

The kids and I are looking forward to a four day weekend....ahhhh relax mode!!!!

So to kick off the weekend I an sharing a card I created using the challenge from CASology...

A friend of mine is going through a tough time right now and I thought this little card would cheer her up...

I paired up a Heidi Swapp stencil that resembles fish scales with the Pisces fish from Mama Elephant, Cosmic Stars, and the sentiment from Paper Smooches, Scripty Sayings. I stamped the fish, than masked them when stenciling.

The black ink is from Hero Arts. The blue ink is Color Box, surf. I used Copic markers to color the fish and than applied a layer of glossy accents for a nice shine! The sequins, or bubbles, are from Pretty Pink Posh.

Hope you have a great weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!

Merry and Bright in the Lane!

Hello there crafters!

How are you today?
All is well here.
Have you seen the newest challenge from The Curtain Call...the colors are amazing!!!

So I combined it with the November Challenge from Mama Elephant...

and also a sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch...

I came up with this off the wall card and tag...

All stamps and dies are from Mama Elephant, Winter Wonderland and Polar Pals and coordinating dies.
I used inks from Color Box in canary and royal blue, Memento in lilac posies and black ink from Hero Arts.
All markers are Copic. Cardstock and vellum are from Papertrey Ink. I embossed the vellum panel with a PTI embossing plate.  I embossed the trees with white embossing powder.
Creative Cuts die is Embellished Tag. I cut twice using white cardstock that I inked up with the same inks and than vellum cardstock for the overlay.  The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh, the wood stars are Studio Calico from Simon Says Stamp.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!
